BOSNIAN RIAD BAJIC JOINS BRESCIA CALCIO

    Bosnia-Herzegovina striker Riad Bajic joins Italian "Serie B" club Brescia Calcio.

    Previous 2020-21 season 27 years old Riad has spent in shirt of Ascoli Calcio as a loaned player from "Serie A" Udinese Calcio 1896. In Ascoli he has performed on a high level with 34 league caps, 12 goals scored, 01 assists and 2,409 minutes played.

    Form of signed agreement with Brescia is one year loan deal with optional obligated buying from Udinese.

    Product of notable Bosnian FC Zeljeznicar Sarajevo football academy, best scorer of youth league 2013-14 (34 goals scored), Riad has debuted in senior football at the age of 19 (FC Zeljeznicar vs Zvijezda Gradacac, 27.07.2013).

    On summer 2015 as Bosnia "Premier League" season top scorer (15 goals), moved to Turkey "super Lig" club Konyaspor. There he has played two seasons with big success (total stats: 85 games, 29 goals, 12 assists, 5,325 minutes), won with Konya in 2016-17 Turkey National Cup competition.

    On August 2017, as a big star of a summer transfer window, Riad Bajic joined Italian "Serie A" club Udinese Calcio 1896.

    Stayed in Udine fall half-season, then in accordance with club policy, made several loan deals: Istanbul Basaksehir (January 2018), Konyaspor (July 2019) and Ascoli (September 2020).

    For Bosnia-Herzegovina National youth teams (U19 and U21) has 11 caps with 05 goals scored. For Bosnia "A" team Riad has debuted on 25.05.2017 (victory vs Gibraltar 5:0), achieved 12 caps in total.

    At this July 2021, player market value is estimated by "Transfermarkt" on 2,000,000 euros.

    Brescia Calcio has finished previous season on "Serie B" seventh table position with 56 points. From this June head coach of Brescia is famous Italian striker Filippo Inzagi, together with several reinforcements he will try to achieve club main goal and reach Italian first division.
