    ​Stefan Scepovic is born in Belgrade, Serbia, on 10th january 1990, plays on striker - center forward position.

    Comes from notable football family, father is ex FC Partizan, Apollon Limassol and CP Merida striker Sladjan Scepovic. Sladjan current works in famous FC Partizan football academy as coach of youth ranks. Stefan born brother is Marko Scepovic, at this moment Turkish Caykur Rizespor striker, in his professional career Marko played for FC Partizan, Videoton FC, Mouscron, Terek Grozny, RCD Mallorca and Olympiakos Piraeus. Also he has achieved four caps for Serbian National A team.

    ​Youth career, Stefan started to train football in Spanish CP Merida, while his father played there, then, like his brother Marko, passed complete football school of Serbian FC Partizan Belgrade, ​with a short break in OFC Belgrade youngsters.

    His first professional engagement was in OFC Belgrade, at that moment Serbia "Super Liga" Club, and Stefan played for OFC year and half - 16 caps and one goal, than on winter 2010, with just 20 years turned on, moved on loan to Italian Sampdoria, where he stayed just half-season, with modest two games in "Serie A", and ten caps in "Primavera A", scored there five goals.

    Sampdoria recognized his talent and quality but due to large number of foreign players, did not bought him from OFC Belgrade.

    That issue big Belgium Club Brugge KV did, and signed with young and talented Stefan long term contract.​

    ​After just 6 months of playing for Club Brugge - four games in "Jupiler Pro League" and three games and one goal in UEFA Europa League qualifications and Europa League group stage, club decided to loan him to Belgium 1.division KV Kortrijk, where he finished season with eight caps, two assists and one goal in championship. ​

    Than on summer 2011, Stefan made for football audience unexpected move and signed for Israeli "Ligat Hal-Al" club Hapoel Acre. 

    This was right decision from him, because on this season and in this club he has showed his high potential, 31 games in championship, 14 goals with 07 assists.

    ​On july 2012 Stefan decided to return back home and sign for his FC Partizan Belgrade. And again he repeated good performances from previous season, Serbian championship 14 caps, four assists and seven goals and in UEFA Champions League qualifications and Europa League, 10 games and one goal.

    At that january 2013, although he left a nice impression on fall half-season, FC Partizan decided to loan Stefan, and again he heads to Israel, but this time to FC Ashdod, participant of Israeli 1.division.

    And again he played well, on that spring on 13 games in championship, scored solid six goals.

    Summer 2013 and loan issue again, this time FC Partizan sent him to Spanish "La Liga 2" club Sporting Gijon, but this time there was buy off clause.

    This was the best season of Stefan Scepovic career so far:

    September 2013 he has become first player in more than 100 years club history which scored on first five official games in a rowSeptember 2013 by "Segunda" he was rewarded by "Player of the month" prizeJanuary 2014 by readers of famous Spanish "Marca" he was voted for "Best League player" of the first half-seasonFebruary 2014 Sporting Gijon buyed him off from FC Partizan and payed Fee of 1,000,000.00 Euros. They signed contract with Stefan till summer 2018May 2014, by "LFP", chosen in best 11 squad in championship

    In total, season 2013/2014, in "La Liga 2", amazing 23 goals scored, with ten assists, on 39 games:

    On 02nd september 2014, Scottish giant Glasgow Celtic FC bought Stefan from Sporting Gijon. Amount of Fee which Celtic payed was 2,500,000.00 Euros.

    One big curiosity relating Scepovic family and Glasgow Celtic, 25 years ago before Stefan moved to Celtic, on season 1989-90, in UEFA Cup Winners Cup first round, playing for FC Partizan, his father Sladjan kicked out Celtic from competition with last minute goal in second match played in Glasgow (FC Partizan vs Glasgow Celtic 2:1, 4:5).

    In following season, in Scottish "Premiership", "League Cup" and National Cup, played on 22 games, with one assist and four scored goals. In UEFA Europa League group stage appeared on four matches and scored two, one against Romania Astra Giurgiu and second against GNK Dinamo Zagreb.

    Summer 2015, and again loan to Spain, but this time to "La Liga 1" Getafe CF. 

    On same season, in mid off it, Getafe bought Stefan from Celtic, for 1,800,000.00 euros. And signed with him contract till june 2020.

    That season Getafe has finished on 19th table place and they drop out from the Spanish "La Liga 1".

    Stefan Scepovic played solid season 2015-16  in "Primera", on 34 caps scored six goals and assisted on one.

    Season 2016-17, in Getafe shirt, appeared on 25 championship matches, scored three goals, helped in Getafe winning in "Segunda Division" play-off and returning to "Primera".

    On summer 2017, Getafe decided to loan him to the place of old success, Stefan has returned to Sporting Gijon. Fall half season in Sporting was solid, in total 16 caps and five goals.

    Then on winter 2018 new challenge in Stefan career has appeared, Hungarian Videoton FC. Spring 2018 he has played well in Videoton shirt (14 games, six goals, three assists), won a National championship title with them.

    Due to messy relations in the team, and bad atmosphere, fall 2018 was modest, two league caps and one goal so on winter 2019 Stefan has decided to move to Pollish "Ektraklasa" club, ambitious Jagiellonia.

    He started to play solid there, on spring 2019 achieved seven caps (330 minutes on pitch), then for the first time in his career he had tough injury, it was Cruciate Ligament Rupture and 8 months break. Stefan Scepovic is expected to return on pitch in november 2019.

    Total, won several trophies in his career so far, participated in FC Partizan winning in Serbian "Super Liga", season 2012-13. With Glasgow Celtic become state Champion and won in "Premiership", 2014-15. Also in same season he won with Celtic in Scottish "League Cup". With Getafe won in "Segunda Division" play-off, season 2016-17. In 2017-18 become champion of Hungary with Videoton FC and won in "NB I.League".

    For Serbia U 21 National youth team, achieved 12 caps, with nice number of eight scored goals.

    On 29th february 2012, Stefan make a debut for Serbia National A team, on a friendly game against Cyprus. Total he has eight caps for Serbia "A" squad and one scored goal, on World Cup qualification match played against FYR Macedonia (5:1), October 2013.

    Statistic, all teams-all competitions, Stefan Scepovic has for now 287 caps, 96 goals scored and 41 assists.
